Conversion Path
The conversion path is the part of the revenue path between the first landing surface and the captured conversion event — the landing page or ad-clicked variant, the form or booking flow, the confirmation page, and the pixels that confirm the event. It is the section of the path most operators control most directly and the section where visible leaks compound fastest.
Definition
The conversion path is the visible operating surface that turns intent into a captured action. It is what a Revenue Scan can review most thoroughly because every step of it is, by design, publicly reachable.
Why it matters
A broken conversion path is the most expensive leak to ignore: every other module — acquisition, tracking, CRM, follow-up — assumes it works. Fix the conversion path and the rest of the system gets its inputs back.
